By way of jenlibrarian: Christine Kane suggests, instead of resolutions, choosing a single word to try to hold to through the year.

I was going to say I couldn't choose just one. But then, laughter might lead to all the other words I'd choose. Such as calm. And kind. And patient.

Oh yeah. Laughter encompasses so much. I don't think I realized how much until I began really thinking hard about it today.
